AFC Fylde (2) really put City of Liverpool to the sword is the teams last meeting when AFC Fylde (2) put four past the home team.
The Coasters have been on an impressive 3 game unbeaten streak before arriving at the Heron Eccles Football Hub and they mad ensure that it wasn’t going to end at the hands of the Liverpool based team who lost their last two games leading into the fixture.
City of Liverpool will be in a rush to put this game behind them quickly. However, they will surely see their one goal as a positive. Goal scorer Ethan Wilson would have been the only player who left the field of play not completely deflated.
The away team however won’t be short of positives to take away from this meeting as putting four past any team is impressive going.
The four goals came from 3 different players which will give the manager a lot of encouragement as he can rely on different players to step up to the challenge.
Kairo Fellone and Keane Joyce manage to put their names on the score sheet both managing to beat the keeper.
Star man on the other hand goes to Harry Hodgson who managed to put two goals past the Purps net minder.
After the Coasters win, they see themselves sitting handsomely in fourth position in the table where City of Liverpool are in 11th position with still no point registered from their first three games of the season.
